I was with Jane's mum on this one. No way could Jane marry such a hooligan, ne'er do well and out and out bad boy. How Mary and i looked down our noses at Phil........not good enough, wrecking her potential career etc. But Jane was stubborn and so we had to paste smiles on our faces and let her ruin her life. Phil proved us to be very wrong. He was Jane's rock, best mate, confidante, perpetual romancer. Phil allowed Jane to be Jane He was funny, down to earth and above all, loyal. Loyal to his family and friends. I will always remember you as a fun loving geezer who had the gift of making everyone smile and had an endless warmth about him.
